I’ll start by saying, this piece is gorgeous in all aspects, and I fell in love from the moment I saw it in person. The sizing was a bit off so, I had to return the original for a smaller size however, Mene’s customer service expedited the return process for me. 10/10 on everything!

Lustrous piece. Mutiple small ray bursts span the dome of the band along with small vertical grooves that run across the edge, adding more texture and depth to the profile, and improving the luster.
Your mileage may vary on the vertical groove consistency.

This incredibly detailed band has everything you could want. Detail, texture, weight, old world carving design… and a bright yellow luster and and shine that looks distinctly different from the other Mene rings. The level of detail gives it more of a satin type finish. Lustrous with high relief.

It's been said already, but I can attest to the glow this ring emits. The light dances wonderfully off the details. Depending on the light it can look like sun rays, flowers, or an urchin pattern. Definitely a cool piece!

I have alot of Mene rings , and this band is shinier and more sparkling than most of them. Maybe thats why it's called a Sun Band , It glows on your finger. I think it's the way the design is etched on, making it reflect more light than a ring with a plain surface.

My ring arrived on time. I took it to a jeweler’s after receiving it - the size of my ring was accurate, I ordered a size 6 and received an exact size 6. I had them check the weight and it was accurate to that listed on my certificate of authenticity.

The “Etruscan sun” design really stands out - looks custom made by a skilled jeweler. Authentically rustic, like maybe some archaeologist excavated it while digging some kind of ancient Mediterranean seaport or like lost treasure brought up from the bottom of the Aegean. …It’s really cool!
