Heavy and Bold
I have the same ring in Gold, and the Platinum version naturally feels heavier, and less fragile. It does gather small micro scratches, but I don't view this as a negative as it adds character, and I knew it would happen going in.

If you want a more low profile ring, this is perfect, it doesn't stand out as much as 24k gold band would. I originally bought a narrow band, but it wasn't big enough, maybe its more suitable for women. I think the wider band is better for a man.

I own several Mene bands. I prefer the 'band' models over simple 'rings' because you can order half sizes. Personally, I am still hoping that Mene introduces quarter sizes one day as well! However, they once only offered full sizes, so half sizes are an improvement (for the bands at least).

Best place to buy wedding bands
These gorgeous bands cost about half as much as what you'd get at a conventional jeweler's, and the 24k purity is such a bonus. Extra kudos for the Mene customer service team going above and beyond to resolve delivery issues with FedEx (FedEx's fault, not Mene's).

My husband and I eloped in August at short notice, but we knew before we did that when it was time to buy our bands that we'd get them from Mene. They're absolutely gorgeous (and delightfully weighty), and what an absolute steal! When we were fitted at Kay's a similar ring cost about twice as much.

Are superlatives really necessary? Completely satisfied with this ring.
Heavy ring
The ring is thick and very heavy. If you have smaller hands or thin fingers I would recommend the regular or thin band. Esthetically I think a smaller band would look better on me. Despite this the wide band does feel comfortable on my fingers.
Nice Ring.
The rings finish has a brushed look to it. The finish isn't completely flawless however. If you look closely you can see small veins in the ring because of the way it was forged. I think it would be more beautiful if those veins were polished out.

I generally stack gold and silver, but wanted to add a bit of exposure to platinum. Since platinum has never been money, I wasn't really interested in a coin. I ordered in my usual ring finger size 9, but it was too big so I have to wear it on my middle finger. I will be ordering more from Mene
